Students should be divided into groups of four. Each group should be assigned one of the scenarios given below. One member of the group should be the manager, one the recorder, one the time-manager, and one the communicator.
The manager should lead the group in a discussion of a solution for the scenario.
The recorder should record the solution while the time-manager watches the time for the discussion and helps keep the group on task.
The communicator will present the group solution to the class.

Group 3 Senario
Ramona, a long-time employee of the company and a middle-level manager, has just retired from the company. Jonathon has just been promoted to fill the vacancy left when Ramona retired, but that left a vacancy in Jonathon's position. It is possible that the other workers could do Jonathon's work, but their productivity and morale could suffer if they are asked to do too much.
